How do you build a helmet that absorbs impact without compromising comfort?

RHEON™ headgear is created using unique geometries allowing for unmatched breathability and airflow, making it possible to deliver world-class head safety without compromising comfort.

Smart material. Smart design.

We combine geometric design methodology with RHEON™ material making our head protection dynamic – meaning it exhibits different properties depending on the direction of force, which is crucial when managing multiple forces of impact during a collision.

Tested for the real world.

Our rigorous testing considers realistic crash scenarios in addition to certification standards to enhance headgear safety. Unlike conventional energy absorbing materials that degrade after a single impact event, RHEON™ is multi-impact, proven to deliver the same standard of performance after

10,000 impacts, validated by the NFL

NFL Helmet Challenge Winners

The NFL Helmet Challenge series is part of a comprehensive effort funded by the NFL – to improve the understanding of the biomechanics of head injuries in professional football, protect the players and make the game safer.

In 2019, RHEON partnered with helmet brand Xenith – to release the Xenith Shadow XR, utilising a unique energy control cell that cushions lower impacts and stiffens against highspeed impacts. In 2021 this collaboration was one of the Helmet Challenge winners, receiving a grant to continue research and development into helmet safety.

Trusted by our partners.

We work with helmet partners across a huge range of categories like moto, snow, American football and safety.

With Ruroc, we’ve developed the RG2 for snow and the EOX and ATLAS for moto.

Specialising in MX, we launched the Formula with Fly Racing in 2019.

Our most recent headgear launch was an innovative commuter cycling helmet with Ventete. The aH-1 micro-collapses by 90% and reinflates using a patented, pneumatic structural system. RHEON™ created the internal padding that enhances rotational impact protection
