Ruroc x RHEON Moto Helmets

Advanced head protection for motorcycle riders

How do you improve helmet protection without adding bulk or compromising comfort?

RHEON partnered with UK helmet specialists Ruroc to integrate advanced impact protection into their latest generation of motorcycle helmets.

The EOX 2.0 features RHEON™ technology integrated directly into the helmet headliner, helping manage the complex forces riders experience during real-world crashes.

The result is a helmet system that delivers enhanced protection, improved comfort, and optimised airflow.

Protection without compromise

RHEON™ is a strain-rate sensitive material, meaning it behaves differently depending on how quickly it is impacted.

During normal use it remains soft, flexible and comfortable.

During an impact, it instantly stiffens to absorb and dissipate energy.

This unique behaviour allows RHEON™ to manage the complex forces involved in motorcycle crashes without adding rigid components to the helmet interior.

Managing linear and rotational impacts

Motorcycle crashes rarely involve straight-line impacts alone.

Off-axis impacts can introduce rotational acceleration, one of the key contributors to brain injury.

RHEON™ technology is engineered to help manage both linear and rotational energy, reducing peak acceleration forces transmitted to the head.

By integrating RHEON™ into the helmet liner system, protection can be enhanced without compromising comfort or fit.

Integrated protection within the EOX 2.0 liner

In Ruroc’s upgraded EOX range, the EOX 2.0 – RHEON™ elements are integrated into the internal liner system, working alongside Ruroc’s redesigned helmet architecture.

This integration allows the helmet to maintain a lightweight and breathable interior, while providing advanced impact management where it is needed most.

The helmet also features premium materials, with moisture-wicking Merino wool and redesigned cheek pads for improved comfort and stability during long rides.
