We combine this geometric design methodology with RHEON™ – a strain-rate sensitive polymer, meaning it exhibits different properties depending on the direction of force, which is crucial when managing multiple forces of impact during a collision.
Unlike many protection technologies, RHEON™ is designed to absorb both linear AND rotational energies, for the ultimate brain protection.
The EOX headliner with RHEON™ technology not only optimises protection performance but also aids enhanced ventilation, with our unique RHEON™ pod integration providing enhanced breathability – creating space for airflow between the rider’s head and the EPS. Its soft and flexible properties also enhance comfort and fit for the rider.
Embedded in the internal liner system, RHEON™ elements in the EOX and AT 4.0 actively reduce peak acceleration forces during crashes, particularly in off-axis impacts – adding a new dimension of protection on whether on street or track.
The helmet liner is inserted into a sleek, streamlined carbon fibre shell, built to be aerodynamic for a performance focus, without ever compromising on protection.
